Further expanding its logistics portfolio, container traffic for the Central Warehousing Corporation was introduced from Korukkupet Goods Shed to Noli (Delhi Division).
The Division also successfully revived and recaptured key traffic streams. Truck-on-Train (ToT) services were operated with 430 trucks transported from Singaperumalkoil to Farukhnagar.
Strengthening freight infrastructure, Chennai Division also commissioned its second Gati Shakti Multi-Modal Cargo Terminal (GCT) at Anuppampattu Village near Ponneri.
