Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay is expected to visit the national capital on May 22 to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a source said on Monday.
During his three-day maiden trip as Chief Minister, Vijay is also expected to meet External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and raise the frequent attacks on Tamil Nadu fishermen by the Sri Lankan coast guard, the source added.
He is likely to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
During the meeting, he would make a presentation requesting central aid for numerous development issues.
