Infosys has finalised performance bonus payouts for Q4 FY26 with an average payout of 70 per cent, according to sources familiar with the matter, marking a decline from the previous quarter’s 85 per cent payout.
An internal company email, which businessline viewed, confirmed that employees across personal levels (PL) 4, 5, and 6 have received the bonus payouts. PLs are internal employee grading bands used by the company during appraisal cycles to evaluate performance and determine variable pay eligibility.
According to the mail, the bonus applies to employees covering junior- and mid-level staff, with payouts linked to performance categories.
Among PL4 employees, payouts were fixed at 82 per cent for those rated “outstanding”, 74 per cent for the “commendable” category, and 67 per cent for employees rated as “meets expectations” or “needs attention”.

At the PL6 level, “outstanding” performers received 77 per cent, “commendable” employees got 70 per cent, while the other two received 63 per cent.
