Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said on Monday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call to conserve foreign exchange is "very important" as the Iran crisis could mean higher fuel costs and delayed cargo for businesses and the public.
High prices of crude, fertilisers and gold are creating some challenges on the external front, Sitharaman added, while speaking at an event in Mumbai.
