BRND.ME, formerly Mensa Brands and a consumer brand aggregator that builds and scales digital-based brands, has transitioned from a private entity to a public company today as it continues to prepare for its public listing.
This conversion has been completed following approval from the Honorable National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and requisite filings with the Registrar of Companies, leading to the company’s corporate name being changed from Mensa Brand Technologies Private Limited to Mensa Brand Technologies Limited.
The conversion into a public company brings BRND.ME under a structure that is more aligned with public-market requirements, enabling greater governance clarity and regulatory alignment. Furthermore, the company is evaluating an IPO over the course of the next 12 to 18 months.
The company’s emphasis on the importance of this transition and the intention to use it to scale brands with greater focus was emphasised by founder and CEO Ananth Narayanan who stated;
“Over the past year, we have taken deliberate steps to simplify our corporate structure, strengthen governance and build a stronger foundation for the next phase of growth. For us, the larger ambition is to build from India for the world and create consumer brands that can scale meaningfully across global markets.”
Prior to this shift, BRND.ME completed its re-domiciliation from Singapore to India through a cross-border composite merger which was completed in under 10 months and received approvals from the High Court of Singapore and the National Company Law Tribunal, Chandigarh Bench. The merger sought to bring the company under a single Indian holding structure.
When speaking about the change in structure, Narayanan expressed that it “gives us the structure to scale with greater focus, transparency and discipline.”
During FY26, BRND.ME has achieved adjusted EBITDA profitability and turned operating cash flow positive. The company recorded FY26 revenue to be approximately ₹1,500 crore and is currently operating at a revenue run-rate of ₹1,700 crore to ₹1,800 crore.
For BRND.ME, their FY26 growth has been driven by margin expansion, tighter cost structures, and calibrated investments. The company’s portfolio is anchored by four flagship brands holding leadership positions across wellness, personal care, nutrition and lifestyle categories.
The four include Majestic Pure, with approximately ₹400 crore annual revenue; Botanic Hearth, with approximately ₹300 crore annual revenue; and MyFitness and PartyPropz, each at over ₹200 crore annual revenue.
Additionally, International markets continue to be a key growth driver, with BRND.ME operating across key regions including the United States, Canada, the Middle East, Europe, and other geographies.
