Re-commerce platform Cashify launched its first-ever Cashify Select branded store in Bengaluru, introducing a new retail format focused on premium refurbished electronics. The store is set to offer refurbished smartphones, laptops, gaming consoles, wearables, and audio products, along with device exchange and upgrade services.
Founded in 2013,the platform boasts over 250 physical retail stores across 95 cities, while its online doorstep pickup services reach over 1,500 locations. Serving millions of customers, Cashify resells over 30 lakh refurbished smartphones annually. Key milestones include its 2013 rebranding, 2019 physical store expansion, and now the Cashify Select branded store.
The launch reflects the growing demand for premium refurbished gadgets in Bengaluru, particularly among young professionals, gamers, and startup employees looking for flagship devices at more accessible prices. The branded store seeks to create an experience-led environment in retail backed by quality checks, warranty support, and reliable after-sales service.
The store will feature a portfolio of premium refurbished electronics, including flagship smartphones, MacBooks, gaming consoles, wearables, audio accessories and open-box devices. Customers can also avail trade-in and upgrade support for existing gadgets. The launch of Cashify Select marks the company’s strategic expansion beyond smartphones into the broader consumer electronics segment.
Cashify's direct digital competitors in Bengaluru include Budli and HelloFi (both based in Koramangala) alongside InstaCash and ReFit Global. These platforms match Cashify's model by offering instant online valuations, automated doorstep device pickups, immediate payouts, and certified refurbished gadgets with warranties.
Commenting on the launch, Nakul Kumar, Co-founder of Cashify said the company is seeing a broader shift in how people consume technology today, and it is no longer only about buying the latest device, but about using technology more efficiently and extending its lifecycle. Refurbished devices are becoming an important part of that change by making premium technology more accessible while also helping reduce e-waste. “Bengaluru has always been one of the most mature technology markets in the country,” he added.
