减肥的方法多种多样,为了夏天能穿得漂亮,女孩们想尽方法,又是针灸又是食疗,而下一个风尚也许会是写博客减肥。 有人说写减肥博客,让人知道自已的隐私是件为难的事情,因为不可避免地会公布自已的身高体重,每日的减肥进程,“纯粹像炫耀和做秀”。可是也是坚持下来的人,比如22岁的漠璇,这个在加拿大读书睥中国女孩,3个月里减去了72斤,她的减肥博客鼓励了其他肥胖的女孩,点击率达到4万,每天留言数百条。

      Many people say that losing weight and keeping it off require a lifetime of dedication,even passion. True, but one is usually more passionate just before it gets warm enough to wear tight T-shirts and short skirts.
      There are many weight-loss and weight-control methods.Everyone has her or his own favorites. There are diets of fruit only ,meat only ,even ice cream only. There are different types of medicine that can suppress appetite and help burn fat; there are different exercises to reduce fat and build muscle in different parts of the body ---like flattening the belly. There are machines, acupuncture , hypnosis, support groups,12-step programs ,and so on.
      The next trend might be publicly posting one's weight-loss/control diary online,as demonstrated by weight-loss blog competitions.
      In some competitions,participants are required to write at least two entries about weight-loss each week. In addition to recording his or her weight, the participant must also do two exercises--one must be belly dancing ---and upload exercise videos.
      Tracy Tan, a 28-year-old sales manger who has been on diet since 18, considers it "embarrassing" to post ther experience online, She compares weight loss blog owners to the notorious Furong Jiejie (Sister Lotus), who became famous by posting her own sensual pictures. Sister Lotus is actually normal --looking but she posed herself(fully clothed) near flowers, showing off her curves.
      "Those who post weight-loss experiences online just want to show off and get famous. At least, their blogs will get high browsing rates," says Tan.
      True, althoughthese blogs are not numerous, they are frequently visited and commented upon. A typical blog contains the owner's daily diet, weight, and exercise, Some even post pictures of themselves before and after dieting.
      One of the most famous is the blog of Moxuan, 22, who lost about 80 pounds (36 kilograms) in three months. The overseas Chinese student in Canada gets more than 40,000 browsers and several hundreds comments for each entry. She posted dramatic before and after photos and she has become an inspiration for many dieters. She now weights about 45 kilograms; She is 162 centimeters tall. 
      Many people have expressed their amazement and praised her courage and persistence.
      Moxuan says in her blog that she lost the weight by eating very little food and drinking lots of water --- a very unhealthy diet. She also she does not recommend her own weight loss method - doctors don't either. 
      Doctors say that Moxuan's weight--loss plan is very unhealthy and that what is required is a change in lifestyle and diet. Most experts recommend a balanced, low-calorie diet and steady exercise. 
      Moxuan says in her blog that she still wants to lose more weight,She posts recipes and her own pictures. 
      In fact, similar blogs are popular.
      "There are people who really lost that much, but I doubt most cases are posted online," says Tan. "Plus, thise who lost so much in such little time are often not healthy."
     On the other hand, 26-year-old Patricia Liu loves reading weight control blogs. "The blogs encourage me a lot. If they can do it, then I can do it."
      However, she hesitates to post her story or pictures or participate in a contest.
      "I don't want to post my fat pictures online, Plus, it would be so much pressure. For me, weight loss is quite private. If I post it publicly, I will have to push myself," she says.
      But that is exactly why obesity expert Dr Xiao Dunren recommends the mothod. 
      "People get lazy and tired about diets, which is only natural, especially if they didn't lose what they expected to. But if they announce the target publicly or join a competition, it will push them to achieve the goal,"Xiao says.
