Here are some of the stakeholder submissions to the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) on the March 2026 draft amendments to the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, that we could get our hands on.
Why are we compiling these? “The submissions will be held in fiduciary capacity in MeitY and shall not be disclosed to anyone at any stage,” read MeitY’s draft amendments notice. This means that the stakeholder submissions will not be disclosed under the RTI act. So, we compiled these submissions from public disclosures and submissions shared directly with us through email.
If you have made your submissions to MeitY, please share a copy or a public link with us. We will include it to the compilation below. Email us at: [email protected]
