The free Marvel Rivals Mister Fantastic summer skin can be obtained through the Krakoan Reels event pass in Season 8.5. Unlike a regular event pass, devs have transformed the Krakoan Reels event into a mini-game. You need to earn XP by actively playing matches, and then the XP gets turned into a ‘bait’ you can use for fishing. You can also buy the bait by exchanging lattice units.
Once you have collected enough bait, play the fishing mini-game in the same tab to earn silver coins. You must catch up to 21 fish to reach level 8 in the Exchange Store. After you have made it all the way up to level 8, you have to spend 18 silver coins you collected to unlock the Marvel Rivals Mister Fantastic summer skin in the Exchange Store. As you can see here, you need to grind XP over time to get the new Mister Fantastic Beach Dad skin.
The latest Krakoan Reels event pass is identical to Jeff’s Break Time event, which gave away Jeff Business Shark skin for free last year.
