The standard edition is the baseline version of the game and includes the base game, the campaign, Modern Warfare 4 multiplayer, and DMZ. Meanwhile, the Vault Edition is the premium package designed for dedicated Call of Duty fans. The Vault Edition features the base game, access to the Season 1 BlackCell Battle Pass, 20+ tier skips, operator packs, and more.

Remember that previous Call of Duty owners will receive a 10% loyalty discount on digital stores. This will drop the price to $89.99 if they own any mainline Call of Duty title from 2019 onward or actively play the game via Xbox Game Pass.

The choice between the Standard and Vault Edition of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 simply comes down to how much of a Call of Duty regular you are.
