The model behind a security workflow shapes how fast a threat is caught, how accurately an incident is investigated, and how much a defender can trust the result. We treat that choice with care.
Today we’re taking a clear step forward: Check Point has joined OpenAI’s Daybreak initiative through its Trusted Access for Cyber (TAC) program. These are real steps in how we bring AI into our defensive operations, and in the security we deliver to our customers.
Trusted Access for Cyber is OpenAI’s program for vetted security organizations that need its most cyber-capable models for real operational work. As a member, Check Point now uses GPT-5.5 with Trusted Access for Cyber for defensive tasks like threat analysis, incident investigation, and detection engineering.
Daybreak is OpenAI’s broader cyber security initiative, built to give vetted organizations more than model access. Through it, Check Point also works with OpenAI’s Codex agentic framework and gets direct support from the team building these models. That direct line, to the people designing the models we depend on, is what makes this a working relationship, not just access. The shared goal is straightforward: use AI for defense effectively and responsibly.
This isn’t access for its own sake. We’re already applying these models across our defensive work:
Enterprises are defending in a landscape increasingly shaped by AI. Attackers use it to move faster, craft more convincing lures, and find weaknesses at scale. Defenders need the same caliber of capability, and the model behind the workflow is part of how you get there.
We’ve been deliberate about this. Rather than rush AI into every corner of the stack, we focused on depth, reliability, and the rigor security demands. TAC and Daybreak fit that approach: the most cyber-capable models, applied where they make defense measurably better, and governed for the way security work actually happens.
TAC and Daybreak are a foundation, not a finish line. As frontier labs advance their cyber-capable models and the threat landscape keeps shifting, we’ll fold those advances into our platform with the same discipline.
Attackers won’t slow down. Neither will we. We’ll keep pairing the most capable models with the intelligence and discipline that turn them into prevention, and keep our customers ahead of what’s next.
