Kinetic IT appoints Kishore Jayaram in new chief transformation officer role

Kinetic IT has appointed Kishore Jayaram as chief transformation officer, creating a new executive role to accelerate its evolution into an AI-enabled services provider.

The move reflects a strategic shift as the Australian-owned technology services firm looks to expand beyond its managed services base and deliver more proactive, intelligence-driven offerings to government and critical infrastructure sectors.

Cyber security and resilience are expected to be central to this transformation.

Jayaram will lead efforts to modernise Kinetic IT’s service portfolio, integrating artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to improve operational visibility, automate response and strengthen the security posture of customer environments.

He will also focus on developing new sovereign digital services, an area of growing importance as governments prioritise data residency, supply chain assurance and national cyber resilience.

Melbourne-based Jayaram brings more than two decades of experience across strategy, consulting and enterprise technology, with previous roles at NCS Australia, McKinsey & Company, Cisco, Accenture, and Thoughtworks.

Kinetic IT chief executive Dean Langenbach said the appointment comes at a critical juncture for the company as it invests in new capabilities to meet evolving customer demands.

“Kishore joins Kinetic IT at a pivotal time as we invest in new capabilities, services and growth initiatives that will shape our future direction,” Langenbach said in a statement.

“His experience in enterprise transformation and strategic execution will help us capture emerging opportunities and deliver even greater value to our customers.”

Jayaram said the company is well-positioned to capitalise on the convergence of AI, sovereignty and security requirements across key industries.

“By combining Kinetic IT’s uniquely Australian position with the accelerating force of AI, we have a real opportunity to deliver new value and support the vital sectors our nation relies on,” Jayaram said.
