Cyber Daily’s fourth annual Cyber Awards has seen 28 winners announced as the best and brightest in the industry.
Tonight (Thursday, 30 April 2026), Australia’s cyber experts and professionals came together at The Star, Sydney, to celebrate excellence among Australia’s top businesses and professionals across the cyber sector.
The fourth annual Australian Cyber Awards celebrates the achievements of individuals and firms in the cyber sector and their essential role in safeguarding individuals, businesses, and the Commonwealth.

A total of 28 winners were selected out of 221 finalists for the prestigious awards, including the coveted Excellence Award.

The awards are run in partnership with our gold partners: Arctic Wolf, Coalition Security, dotSec, Gadget Access / CiBRAI, MAP Talent, Mercury Information Security Services, and upcover, and spotlights all cyber stakeholders – from defence, insurance, cloud services, and technology through to those working in STEM, consultancy, and ransomware protection.
There were a total of 28 categories on offer, including 18 individual and nine group categories, plus the prestigious Excellence Award.
Some of the individual winners include Stephanie Crabtree of Cyconsol as Indigenous Female Cyber Leader of the Year – Cyber Services, Graham Fairley of PEXA as CISO of the Year, and Pranay Yara from DXC Technology as Cyber Security Graduate of the Year.
The group winners include Illumio as Network and Ransomware Security Provider of the Year, and de.iterate as GRC Provider of the Year.
NSW Department of Customer Service’s Marie Patane took out the Excellence Award for the evening.
Australian comedian and radio host Mark Humphries was the emcee for the evening, providing light and laughter throughout the evening.
Being named a winner of one of the prestigious Australian Cyber Awards provides professionals with national recognition for their contribution to the advancement of the cyber industry.
The awards ceremony also provided the unique opportunity for attendees to collaborate with industry leaders, peers, and colleagues.
Winners were selected using a robust judging criteria that was both quantitative and qualitative. The winners were assessed on growth, business development, diversity, leadership, innovation, business excellence and contribution to Australia’s cyber sector.
