Dua Lipa and Callum Turner officially tied the knot with a low-key ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall in London on Sunday, May 31, but, of course, the Vacanza Queen kept the party going with a larger, more luxurious $1.7 million wedding reception in Palermo, Italy.
On Saturday, June 6, the newlyweds celebrated with loved ones and star-studded guests like Charli xcx, George Daniel, Donatella Versace, Mark Ronson, Grace Gummer, Troye Sivan, Joe Alwyn, and Tame Impala at a stunning 18th-century estate, Villa Valguarnera. According to Vanity Fair, the property (located 30 minutes outside of Palermo) is owned by the Italian translator of The Lord of the Rings, Vittoria Alliata di Villafranca, and is known as “little Versailles.”
According to The Sun, Dua’s bridal bouquet was made up of lily of the valley, peonies, and hyacinths from a local Italian florist—though it still hasn’t been revealed what she wore for the big day itself. The rumored Versace-designed gown will remain embargoed until Dua does her official Instagram reveal, but honestly, I don’t know how she could possibly beat the Schiaparelli skirt suit she wore for her civil ceremony…or the Bottega Veneta feathered gown she wore to the welcome party…or the sheer white Chloé dress she wore to brunch the next day…

As for the couple’s reception? It was pretty major as guests were served Sicilian delicacies, including anelletti alla Norma, panelle, crocché, cassate, and cannolis from Michelin-star chefs Osteria dei Vespri and Tony Lo Coco. Waiters also brought out Margherita pizzas on silver trays for partygoers, per The Sun.
Some wedding guests even shared photos from the reception, which included sweet details in photo booth curtains and cocktail napkins that read, “Stay mad with me forever.” Love!!
Elton John reportedly serenaded them with a stripped-down version of his ballad, “Your Song,” backed by a piano. The Daily Mail’s sources also revealed the celebration included a nod to Dua’s Albanian heritage with “music and dancing from a local Albanian community, and her mum and dad clapped and danced enthusiastically.”
Per The Sun’s report of the wedding, a 10-minute fireworks display kicked off around 11:30 p.m., with surrounding bystanders claiming it felt “bigger than New Year’s.”
And, while some of the older guests reportedly left around midnight, insiders claim that “the younger ones partied on, there was a dance floor inside but then the afterparty moved on inside with DJs playing music and the late shift workers were told it would be going on until 6 a.m.”
Taking it all with a grain of salt until Dua and Callum decide to share any details themselves, if at all. But one thing’s for sure: The newlyweds are, indeed, living la dolce vita by each other’s side!
