I’m going to be honest: I wasn’t sure there was a future for Selling Sunset after Chrishell Stause announced her departure from the series following season 9, but it seems as though Selling Sunset season 10 is, in fact, happening. What’s more: It seems that Chrishell’s absence won’t be the only cast change fans can anticipate.
It was recently confirmed that—after a four-year hiatus from the series—Christine Quinn will be returning to Selling Sunset following her season 5 exit, as will Heather Rae El Moussa, who exited the series after having a reduced role in season 7. “This isn’t a rewind,” Christine told Tudum of her return. “It’s a reintroduction.”
What other shakeups can you expect from this upcoming season? Here’s everything that has been revealed about Selling Sunset’s tenth installment so far, including the fate of Chelsea Lazkani after how she was treated during season 9. Starting with…
No release date has been announced for season 10 yet, and tbh, it might be a while before we see Selling Sunset back on our screens. According to an Us Weekly source, the cast was “supposed to start filming and it has been delayed because they are waiting for [Christine Quinn] to finish negotiations.”
That said, TMZ reported earlier this month that there are “plans to begin filming in late April or early May.”
In addition to confirming Christine Quinn and Heather Rae El Moussa’s return, Us Weeklypreviously reported that newbie Tara Burns Sarbaz would be joining the cast, with a source saying, “She will be full time and has worked with Jason [Oppenheim] before.”
But while three new(ish) folks are joining the cast, others will be departing. Along with Chrishell, People reported on March 20 that controversial cast member Nicole Young would not be returning, with a rep saying it was “entirely Nicole’s own decision to step away from the show” and move to Nashville, as “she felt she was no longer being represented authentically.” Mmkay!
Following season 9, it was widely believed that Chelsea Lazkani would also be exiting, but she has since shut down those rumors.
Taking to Threads on March 13, Chelsea wrote, “If you plan on firing me, do it loudly and proudly and state the reason. If I decide to leave on my own accord, I’ll make that clear as well.”

Oh, and according to her: “All this fake information circulating about me leaving Selling Sunset seems like someone planted it.” Interesting! But the good news is that—even if she doesn’t return—fans can expect to see her in another reality show coming up.
As for all the other season 9 cast members—Emma Hernan, Alanna Gold, Mary Bonnet, Amanza Smith, Bre Tiesi, Sandra Vergara, and Jason and Brett Oppenheim—their fates are still up in the air, save for Bre, who confirmed to E! News that she “will be back” for season 10.
Meanwhile, Mary said on the Casual Chaos Podcast in January 2026 that her involvement “depends on the level of toxicity that they’re allowing.”
More info to come as I have it!
