If you’re someone who starts each year with a robust vision board, I’m happy to report that Cosmo girl Olivia Rodrigo does the same. She has found herself living out the vacation photos she once saved on Pinterest and has a massive cork board in her house that she updates frequently—now, Olivia is ready to show us how she does it. Cosmopolitan editor-in-chief Willa Bennett brought the supplies, Olivia brought the inspo and, together, they mapped out Olivia’s path to you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love. Let’s get into it, shall we?

Currently, Olivia is in full lucky-girl mode. Good things are happening to her and she’s feeling sparkly, so naturally, a disco ball was her first pin. Also in her current era: lots of pink, a British revival, and a newfound love for trains courtesy of a trip on the Eurostar. Love train travel, personally. Speaking of…Olivia’s latest single, “drop dead,” is a major part of her life right now. Well, everyone’s lives, if we’re being honest. She compared filming alone in Versailles to Night at the Museum and revealed her desire to capture the “beautiful mind palace” we escape to in the early days of falling in love. Yes, concept!

Something I’m 100 percent stealing from Olivia (in addition to her friend group’s “jury duty” tradition, where they work through big decisions via group chat) is honoring the past while manifesting the future. She lovingly looks back on the SOUR era, pinning images of her (admittedly sugary) Crumbl cookie and the iconic purple Stanley. From GUTS, she pinned images from Glastonbury (one of her all-time favorite days) and The Summer I Turned Pretty, which featured “lacy” on its season 3 soundtrack. Plus, Willa finally got to address everything Conan Gray said about ‘vampire’ on Blind Date. A Cosmo universe crossover, if you will.

Now, for the future. Voice notes made it onto the board, as Olivia thinks she sent over a thousand to producer Dan Nigro while making you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love. She actually lived for her fans’ album title theories and has a very specific vision in her head of when and where she hopes they’ll listen to it once it drops (hint: It involved a Baja Blast). She talked through some examples of love that inspired her and some that she wants to stay far, far away from. Oh, and we may or may not have captured the exact moment she manifested her upcoming SNL double duty…

Obviously, Olivia squeezed a lot onto her vision board, but as a final touch, she tied everything together with a red string. What does that mean, you ask? All will be revealed in due time (no, seriously, we don’t know either). Meet back here when the album drops in June!
