Kay, so you know how Taylor Swift has been papped on outings for, like, the past five nights in a row? I don’t know what Blondie is up to, but I do know that, when you see Taylor, there’s a pretty good chance you’ll see her bestie Ashley Avignone.

They had another NYC outing on April 27, and the two were also spotted together on April 8, when Tay once again wore bridal white. And let’s not forget those three back-to-back friend dinners Tay had in November—first with Ashley, then with Gigi Hadid, and finally with Sabrina Carpenter—that fans are convinced were for the purpose of gathering her bridesmaids.

According to People, Taylor and Ashley (who is a stylist) met through their mutual friend Emma Stone and have remained close ever since.

Back in 2019, she celebrated Taylor’s birthday on Instagram with a sweet caption saying, “30 years of life for you, 11 years of friendship for us. Thanks for being the bestest friend, listener, dance party-starter, story teller, haircut enthusiast, with the biggest, warmest, and most generous heart. Happy Birthday Tay!! Love you to pieces.”

According to my math, that means they’ve been friends since 2008! Here’s hoping Ashley plays a big part in Taylor’s upcoming wedding day.
