You don’t need us to tell you that Rosalía is highly accomplished in all areas. On top of being a classically trained flamenco artist, musical prodigy, fashion icon, and Euphoria season 3 breakout star, the LUX singer has achieved the impressive feat of only dating hot people. In the mid-2010s, Rosalía was reportedly linked to Spanish rapper C. Tangana when they worked on her sophomore album, El Mal Querer. Tangana—who’s credited by his real name, Antón Álvarez Alfaro—co-wrote eight of the eleven songs on the album, which translates to The Bad Loving in English.

While their relationship was pretty private, they got close as their stars continued to rise within the Spanish urban music scene in 2018. And though the details of their breakup are slim, it seems like they quietly split as Rosalía broke into the mainstream.

A few years later, C. Tangana got candid about the breakout success of El Mal Querer at the time during a 2024 interview on the Spanish show, Lo de Évole.

“I think we’re not at the same level,” he said. “The impact Rosalía has had is much greater than what I’ve had, especially internationally.”

Yep. Rosalía and her future Euphoria co-star, Hunter Schafer, quietly dated for five months in the fall and winter of 2019, and the internet pretty much lost any ability to chill when the news dropped years later. This was the general vibe:

Their relationship was kept under wraps until 2024, when Hunter told GQ that the singer would be considered “family no matter what,” despite splitting up. At the time, she added, “I have really beautiful friendships with people that I was once romantically involved with.”

The “Berghain” singer moved on with Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Rauw Alejandro. In a joint interview with Billboard in 2023, they confirmed they first met at a Las Vegas hotel lounge after a few DM exchanges during the 2019 Latin Grammys. But it wasn’t until 2021 that they sparked—and later confirmed—dating rumors.

The pair worked on a bunch of musical collaborations, from songs like “Dile a Él,” “Corazón Despeinado,” “Caprichoso,” and “Chicken Teriyaki,” to their joint EP, RR. Of course, the intimate music video for their RR track “Beso” also served as their engagement announcement in March 2023, and they even hit the Coachella stage together that same year.

Fans of the musicians were sure that they’d be endgame, but in July 2023, sources confirmed to People that they had “agreed” to part ways, “despite the love and respect” they have for one another.

While the internet ran rampant with rumors that Rauw had cheated on Rosalía, he dispelled them when he issued a statement. “Yes, a few months ago Rosi and I ended our engagement,” he wrote at the time, per Billboard. “There are thousands of problems that can cause a breakup but, in our case, it was not because of infidelity or a third person.”

The end of their engagement reportedly inspired more music over the years, including Rauw’s song, “Hayami Hana.” Ofc, the internet also widely speculated that the “emotional terrorist” Rosalía sings about on her LUX track, “La Perla,” could be Rauw, but it hasn’t been confirmed or denied.

The Latin Grammy winner broke the internet when she was spotted at a screening of Wild Things at the Los Feliz Theater with The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White in October 2023. This marked his first public relationship after divorcing his ex-wife, Addison Timlin (aside from a one-off makeout sesh with Ashley Moore).

They continued to make headlines as they went on farmer’s market dates and split cigs. In November 2023, sources told Us Weekly, “Rosalía and Jeremy Allen White have recently started dating. They started out as just friends, but things have turned romantic recently.”
