Sorry, Livies, but it looks like Louis Partridge and Olivia Rodrigo might not be getting back together anytime soon—and there’s some pretty concrete evidence as to why that might be the case.
According to DeuxMoi, Louis appears to have moved on from Olivia and has been spending time with internet personality Eva Meloche. The pair was spotted together at a wine bar in Copenhagen, and while they didn’t look super coupled up, they did make a point to shield their faces from the paparazzi as much as they possibly could.
Case in point:
And as an added dash of evidence, Louis has been spotted liking several of Eva’s Instagram posts dating back to January, which conveniently happened to be one month after he and Olivia called their relationship quits.
So, who is Eva Meloche? Well, you might have already seen her splashed across your social media feeds and didn’t even know it, but for the uninitiated, here’s everything we know about the latest girl to steal Louis’ heart.
Eva lists Montreal, Quebec, Canada, as her location on LinkedIn…which means yes, she absolutely speaks French.
According to her LinkedIn, Eva used to work part-time at the store between 2018 and 2020. I knew I recognized some of the brand’s basics deep in her feed…
Eva loves lit so much, she literally studied it in college at McGill University. In a 2024 Substack interview with Katie Brosky, she said, “Thinking back throughout my whole university experience, every semester, there’s been at least one class where I’ve been obsessed with all the material.”
As for what she got up to in college, Eva took classes on Alfred Hitchcock and Romanticism and Revolutionary Writers in the Romantic Period, and wrote her senior thesis on Milk Teeth by Jessica Andrews. She also cites Stephen Chbosky’s The Perks of Being a Wallflower and Mitch Albom’s Tuesdays with Morrie as two of her favorite books of all time.
Last year, she graduated with first-class honors in English cultural studies and a minor in communication.
And boasts 14,000 followers to boot. On there, Eva writes about her favorite things of the month and offers discourse on trending topics within the greater pop cultural landscape (see: her banger of an essay on “Becoming Anti-Yearn”).
Eva documents her life on YouTube, and shares everything from cute travel videos to GRWM chitchats. And her influence is strong—she has over 560,000 followers on the platform (a number which will no doubt explode after these Louis dating rumors).
In the Substack interview, Eva explained that she grew up being filmed by her mother, which eventually inspired her to document her life in a similar fashion.
“I started watching YouTube videos, and it felt like I was watching other people’s home videos. I was really inspired by Margo Lee. I would watch her abroad videos—I think I was in grade 10—and I was obsessed with them. And so I just felt inspired to start documenting things for myself,” she explained.
“I really am just obsessed with creating little videos with the thought that I can watch them back when I’m older. I’m such a nostalgic person,” Eva added. “One day this summer, I spent the entire day just watching super old videos and going down memory lane. So that’s what drove me and still drives me today.”
