UP CM Yogi Adityanath has highlighted a massive jump in the state’s agricultural growth, rising from 8% in 2017 to a staggering 18% in 2026. Credits go to free irrigation for 50 lakh hectares, high-tech seeds, and guaranteed MSP. Highlighting the transformation of the sugar sector, CM Yogi noted that 121 mills operated this season with a 92% payment clearance already achieved. He emphasized that UP's sugar mills have evolved into Integrated Sugar Complexes, producing not just sugar but also ethanol, fine sugar, and power, creating massive employment and securing farmers' futures.
