Yogi Adityanath made a strong pitch for Uttar Pradesh’s transformation story, claiming the state has moved from the era of “katta and bombs” to becoming a hub for BrahMos missiles, drones and MSMEs. Highlighting UP’s rise in agriculture, food production, dairy and manufacturing, Yogi said the state is now producing far more than its own requirements while creating crores of jobs through the One District One Product initiative. He also stressed that MSMEs have become the backbone of UP’s economy with support in technology, packaging and marketing. In a fiery statement, the UP CM said the same state once known for crude weapons is now contributing to India’s defence self-reliance with BrahMos missiles and advanced drones being manufactured in Uttar Pradesh.
