MagSafe seems to work like magic. Luckily, there are no tricks here, just some good magnetic attraction. At ZDNET, I've tested dozens of MagSafe accessories, from battery packs to wallets, phone cases, tripods, and more, and other team experts have reviewed even more niche MagSafe gear, like SSDs and voice recorders. But my favorite accessory is still MagSafe wireless chargers.

In particular, I prefer multi-purpose MagSafe charging setups -- ones that can charge my Apple Watch and AirPods at the same time as my iPhone -- more than anything else. But I find many people skip out on these gizmos, for one reason or another, often citing price, size, or loyalty to a handy USB-C cable (bonus points if it's an extra long 6ft version) for bedside charging.

Plus, if you're short on space, vertical upright chargers with stands can free up a lot of room on a nightstand or desk, while lay-flat chargers (like the one above) are perfect for those with a roomier tabletop.
