Samsung users will get the most out of the Galaxy Watch 8. I loved wearing the smartwatch for a few unique features I haven't found in competitors. The first is Samsung's Running Coach, which gauges your running capacity through a test, rates you out of 10, and establishes a training plan you can reference to prepare for your first or next race. The second is Antioxidant Index. There's a sensor on the back of the watch that you press your finger to and it tells you if there are carotenoids in your skin, a sign of sufficient antioxidant intake. 

Of course, the watch also does the usual stuff, like exercise, sleep, and stress tracking well.

The Apple Watch Series 11 is our pick for the smartwatch most iPhone owners should buy if they want Apple's latest smartwatch, alongside a 24-hour battery life and the company's full suite of health-tracking features. It's $120 off, a deal we don't see very often -- and a good one at that. The Series 11 is one of a few Apple smartwatches to receive its latest software updates. What does that mean for you? You'll get several years out of this smartwatch, as it's a newer generation Apple continues to include in annual updates.

This smart ring has no subscription, unlike Oura, and does a fine job at tracking sleep. It's not the most advanced smart ring you can get, and you see that when you use the RingConn app. But if you're looking to uncover more details about your sleep patterns at a lower cost than Oura, it's not a bad buy. 

Calling all Android users: if you're looking for your next smartwatch, look no further than the Pixel Watch 4. It's the best smartwatch I'd recommend for a few reasons. It's got a long battery life, great fitness and health tracking mechanisms through Google Health, and an upgraded design that makes charging and using the watch simple and seamless. Gemini powers many of the Pixel Watch's newest functionalities, and it does it in a way that feels actually useful and helpful, as far as AI tools go.

Whoop differentiates itself from competitors through its extensive data illustrations built for people who are looking to optimize every aspect of their health, from their sleep and stress to their activity and recovery. It's a fitness band worn by many athletes, thanks to the extensive data it collects and displays. If you buy this band, you're buying one of the more hardcore fitness trackers on the market.

The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is Apple's most premium smartwatch to date. The smartwatch's feature set leaves no bell nor whistle behind. This includes a 42-hour battery life (or 72 hours if you turn the watch to low power mode), every health-tracking feature (including FDA-cleared hypertension, sleep apnea, and atrial fibrillation detection), and a vibrant OLED screen with improved readability from every angle. It also comes with an Action Button, one addition absent in the Series and SE lineup of Apple Watches. You can press it to initiate a workout with just the tap of a button, take photos with your iPhone, and more. 

This is one of the cheaper smart rings I've tested -- and while it certainly feels like a cheaper smart ring compared to the Oura, I'd still recommend it as an affordable health tracker for someone interested in tracking sleep. You should look elsewhere if you want a comprehensive tracker for sleep, activity, and stress. I'd recommend the Samsung Galaxy Ring or one of the older Oura Ring generations instead. But this will do the middling trick for half the price of those rings -- and no subscription fee.

Did you know you can use your HSA or FSA funds to buy yourself a wearable? Google's newest fitness tracker, the Fitbit Air, is unfortunately not discounted (yet). But if your eyes are on the $100 tracker and you have extra cash in one of those health savings accounts, you can use that money to jump on it. 

Even if you don't have a health savings account, the Google Fitbit is still a cheap enough device that purchasing one feels like you bought it at a discount.
