If you've been waiting to buy a new smartphone, now is a great time to do so, as Google's Pixel 10 is on sale at Amazon.

Both storage models have been discounted. The better deal belongs to the 128GB Pixel 10, which has dropped from $799 to $549, a 31% price decrease. The 256GB Pixel 10, on the other hand, received a 28% discount, dropping from $899 down to $649.

This sale extends to all four color options, so you have plenty of options. You can pick between Obsidian (black), Frost (white), Indigo (blue), and Lemongrass (yellow).

You can lower the price even further through Amazon's trade-in program. For example, you can get up to $520 off the 128GB Pixel 10.

Google Pixel 10

ZD recommends

Google's Pixel 10 stands as one of the most well-rounded flagship phones you can buy right now, thanks to its many meaningful upgrades. It runs on the Tensor G5 chipset and 12GB of RAM, giving the device a noticeable speed boost over the previous generation. The hardware also supports generative AI features, such as Pixel Screenshots, Magic Cue, and Auto Unblur.

Photography is another highlight. The Pixel 10 is the first base Pixel model to house a dedicated telephoto lens. Users will have access to a 48MP main sensor, a 13MP ultrawide, and a 10.8MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and up to 20x digital zoom. Previous generations would only offer a main and an ultrawide option. A triple-camera system offers significant flexibility when shooting. Combined with the Tensor G5's advanced image processing, you'll be able to take high-quality photos with minimal effort.

Like the Pro model, the Pixel 10 supports the company's new Pixelsnap accessories. It's very similar to the MagSafe accessories supported by iPhones. Users will be able to magnetically attach exclusive chargers, stands, and wallets to the back of the smartphone. Other notable features of the Pixel 10 include a 6.3-inch Actua screen, an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and a long-lasting battery.

How I rated this deal

Per ZDNET's rating system, I rate this deal 4/5. Overall, I think this is great -- 31% off the Pixel 10 is a solid discount, especially for a mobile device that's not yet a year old. I would recommend this phone to anyone looking to upgrade. It's a solid flagship that performs well, has a vibrant display, and the Pixelsnap support will greatly enhance the user experience.

Act fast, as Amazon is calling a limited-time deal.
