大部分美国人只精通一门语言，即英语。但是随着商业国际化的发展，他们在人才市场上位居劣势。在今天2月29日的Seattle Times上的文章，列出了以下外语作为学习的建议。次序是：Spanish， Mandarin Chinese or Cantonese， Portuguese， Arabic or Farsi， German，Russian， 和French。

为什么中文位居第二位呢？文中指出： China is the fastest-growing consumer market in the world. It already has the largest middle class in the world, one which will no doubt continue to grow. Some estimates point to Chinese becoming the No. 1 Internet language by 2007.

中文在2007年前会成为第一大的互联网语言么？我看几乎是肯定的。
中国已经有了世界上最大的中产阶层？虽然相对数量还远不是最大。

最想知道的是：计算机软硬件开发人员在未来中国是不是能保证处于中产阶层？
