Today, Amazon Kinesis Data Streams adds the ability for you to run SQL queries with one click in the AWS Management Console using Amazon Managed Service for Apache Flink. With this new capability, you can easily analyze and visualize the data in your streams in real-time.

Amazon Kinesis Data Streams is a serverless streaming data service that makes it easy to capture, process, and store streaming data at massive scale. With Amazon Managed Service for Apache Flink, you can transform and analyze streaming data in real time with Apache Flink, an open-source framework and engine for processing data streams. Now, you can start analyzing your data stream in minutes by deploying a managed Apache Flink Studio notebook. You can then perform ad-hoc SQL queries to inspect your Kinesis data stream and view results in seconds.

To get started, go to the the Data Analytics section in the Kinesis Data Streams Console. This feature is available in all AWS Regions, except AWS GovCloud (US) and AWS China Regions.
