AWS Resilience Hub has expanded support for AWS Trusted Advisor, adding an additional check for unrecoverable application components. In addition, Resilience Hub has expanded support to assess applications that include Amazon FSx for Windows File Server. Resilience Hub provides a single place to define, validate, and track the resilience of your applications so that you can avoid unnecessary downtime caused by software, infrastructure, or operational disruptions.

As many variables can impact the resilience of your applications, preparing and protecting them from disruption should be continuous. When you use Trusted Advisor with Resilience Hub, you can now receive a notification if an application component currently unrecoverable. The notification will also recommend changes to your application components that will enable you to recover from disruption events and meet your resiliency policy target.

For applications using Amazon FSx for Windows File Server, Resilience Hub now provides a new set of resilience recommendations, covering Availability Zone (AZ) and Multi-AZ deployments, snapshots and backup plans, as well as data replication. Resilience Hub also provides a set of alarms and standard operation procedures (SOPs) to allow customers better control of their resilience posture. To access the new alarms, you may need to update the AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) policy of the role you are using.

The new capabilities are available in all of the AWS Regions where Resilience Hub is supported. See the AWS Regional Services List for the most up-to-date availability information.

AWS support for Internet Explorer ends on 07/31/2022. Supported browsers are Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari. Learn more »
