Mr Fab:
i recorded her songs from "Lady Of Burlesque" off the film. Fun stuff. "Take it off the E string, play it on the G-string" or some such. They're in the Sheena stream, I believe..?

Andrea C:
the name "Cemetery Dave" makes me think of an italian parody called The Silence of the Hams. The owner of the Cemetery Hotel was named Antonio Motel. The Cemetery was a cemetery named motel. Excuse the random factoid.

Mr Fab:
I grew up in a new house built on part of Barbara Stanwyck's old ranch. My mom found a horseshoe on our property, which she put in a frame.
I think Barbara Stanwyck was married a Marx Brother.
Glad to spread the word. I used to play the Membranes on my old show on terrestrial WFMU in the 80s. Never saw them live though. I bought their records at Bleecker Bob's.
