the long hots were freaking hot man! chef L fried them with potato slices in a pan, about 3/4 inch of cooking oil. she just took them out as they turned light brown. about 5 minutes. the peppers should be about half dark green, half brown or they get overdone. the potatoes could have been a little thicker, less crunchy.

speaking of "fade ups" does anyone know what that song is that just keeps building like a spaceship is about to take off? it also sounds like when the hatch is about to blow up from the TV show Lost
That should work out great, as the students will be out (hopefully; they're on the quarter system, and I can't recall the in/out dates). And my birthday is the week before. And Chresti's. And Gaylord's.

Hey Creamo! Just tuned in so I missed the context but heard you mention you opened for Pink and Brown. In the early 2000's I used to book for a venue in San Francisco called the Edinburgh Castle. I was lucky to frequently host many of John Dwyer's projects including Pink and Brown and Coachwhips. I still think about those shows all the time! Sweaty, primal, loud , brilliant!
