Good morning all. Meeting at noon today to find out whether I'm cut back to 1/2 time or let go completely from my job of 10 years. Wish me luck.
It's ALL business Charles. I agree with your statement as you are employed by The Govt' however all Govt. entities do business with outside vendors as "customers".
I had many Govt. contracts I serviced at all levels over the years.
Loyalty is a thing of the past.
Money, money money makes the world go 'round.

Charles in Chicago:
Thanks everyone. I've been expecting this for a while, at least after today I'll know what the outcome is.
The other one they put out, Rough and Twisted, is a good one. Credit to them for releasing new stuff. Still weird to see the Stones as a trio doing publicity. Charlie never said anything but he looked good.
What would happen in my case, my experience and pay level worked against me when the bean counters came in to the merger & acquisitions picture. Very similar to budget cuts.
At my last co. I created and ran a dept. for my employer and in 5 years time I had it up to $2.5 million in recurring service contract revenue.
I severely hurt my back (at home). I worked injured 3.5 years and when I mentioned surgery I was fired the next day.
Private co., no union protection, nothing I could do about it.
This song reminds me of a different lifetime !! 💜💜

it really did. so many think pieces on "the stripped down arrangements make it clear that under her pop-girly affectations, Taylor can write a song! Thank you Ryan Adams for making that clear to me."
Not gonna @ you, just explaining that it is convenient to cook 'em up. Boiled or sauteed, easy peasy when you're pressed for time. It's a sammich.
Aside: Days ago I remembered the old Arnold rye bread commercial where they had deli owners give their evaluation of said bread. One guy says, 'It makes a nice sandwich. A nice sandwich.'

Holy smokes! Bears opening doors is a thing!
Black bears in New Jersey have learned to open car and van doors, particularly in northern areas like Passaic County, to forage for food. These incidents involve bears using paws or mouths to pull handles, occasionally trapping themselves inside or destroying interiors. Residents are advised to keep all car doors locked, even when parked in their own driveways, to prevent these occurrences.

At my last co. I created and ran a dept. for my employer and in 5 years time I had it up to $2.5 million in recurring service contract revenue.
