Today's show is sort of a special: Everything heard will be from the years 1967 to 1973, with a focus on overlooked (and still cheap) U.S. rock LPs, mostly on major labels. I may diverge from that plan here and there, but that's the general idea.

rw:
Weird. Tony, I think of you as neither small nor grumpy.
David, Hey wait a minute. I hear this. Coincidence? Time for a lawsuit on behalf of Jake Bruce and Pete Brown's estates? Or, is it only a few seconds long, so it slips by?
David -- Apparently they did run, never to be really noticed by Bruce & Co.
Still-sorta-on-topic -- I heard a really good acoustic version of "White Room" recently at an open mic. They did vocal "ahhs" for that descending part. I joined in on the "ahhs."

I'm enjoying wading in the obscure waters of these late 60s/early 70s tunes Tony. I just heard Alan Osmond died so thought it might be fitting to mention that here, though I guess The Osmonds weren't very obscure.
just reading about Alan's older brother Tom, who was/is almost completely deaf but Loved music, as he felt it - eventually learning saxophone and piano.
...and this one, for me, reminded me of...
1 - Melissa (Allman brother band)
then - something by Donovan
then - who knows where the time goes (fairport's)
but i feel it did find *itself* eventually!
