The thing is, caffeine feels so good. It’s such an amazing, powerful substance. It is to be respected for sure. Just another beautiful gift from the earth.↳ cricket @9:57
I stopped drinking coffee during the pandemic and have not gone back since. Don't miss it in the slightest. I dunno. I just lost interest in it, I guess -- I suppose my coffee routines were tied to my work routines. At any rate, I think I had a few cups in 2022 and then maybe one on NYE 2024? And that's it since 2020. Seemed like not a big deal, but I also wasn't really following a goal. Just kind of did it.↳ Handy Haversack @10:01
coffee helps me have great poopies in the morning - no matter how much I might want to quit, great poopies are not anything I'm willing to sacrifice!↳ Handy Haversack @10:01
your note about it being tied to your work routines really resonates with me - I didn't even become a daily caffeine drinker until I started a job entailing pretty grueling 12 hour shifts in my 20s, & even after leaving that place, the habit remains :[↳ Handy Haversack @10:01

it may started because of work routines, but it remains because of poopies routines↳ High_Quality_Fun @10:08
Great poopies are important.↳ melinda @10:10
when I was young I didn't care much about the quality of my poopies, but after hitting middle age, great poopies are a big highlight of my life and I have no shame about that↳ Dan and Kate in mpls @9:42
They are going to be in my town exactly when I'm going to be at the festival where I saw them last year but didn't stay for the whole set because it was late.↳ High_Quality_Fun @10:11
Definitely a highlight to the day of a middle aged person !↳ DJ Out-Regis @10:12
during that 7 month hiatus, did your poopies quality suffer? sure bursting with energy is great, but the poopies...."Darkened Wood" & "Horizontal Comfort" are from Machine Simple: shamtunes.bandcamp.com...
The rest of the tracks are currently unreleased

Yeah, my office does a St. Patrick's Day party, and the HR fellow makes Irish coffee. I'd forgotten about it. Since I hate whipped cream and Bailey's AND the taste of Jameson, I'd always just had Jameson and coffee. Having four of those in 2022 had me ready to punch out the sun! This year, I just had Jameson and water and dealt with the taste.
