Quaint two lane country roads becoming four lanes with pedestrian unfriendly intersections with the typical Home Depot’s, Walmarts, etc. A poorly designed suburban shite-hole. Same happened to Central and South Jersey years ago.

Heartbreaking, I lived in Atlanta from 1985-87. Once visited and spent the night at a friend’s house in Winder, Ga. Was all farmland surrounding the small town. It was a big deal to have a McDonald’s in town. Looked at Winder, GA on Google Maps and it is all suburban sprawl and beyond, connected to Atlanta.
