Yep. We had one progressive Dem candidate, Dylan Hewitt, who withdrew because he ran outta money. Then Stuart Amoriell over in Lake Placid threw his hat into the ring. Both survived lawsuits trying to kick them off the ballot. My Gendebien story: early on, I emailed him, what are your positions on women's rights, immigration and etc. His reply: "I'm still working on that. Come volunteer at my phone bank." Meanwhile, Amoriell had clear positions on all this stuff. ⚡ ♥ 7:35am

I've been wondering lately. About the US World War II vets. They did serve and some died fighting fascism some 80 years ago. It's not that all of them would agree specifically with "antifa" protesters, necessarily. But they were anti-fascists too!
