I lived with a guy that had narcolepsy and was masking. He vacuumed about 6 times a day, walked around with keys banging on a metal thermos and spent excessive time doing loud kitchen noises. I saw him pass out collapse a few times. He claimed to be a bomb and munitions handler in the WA National Guard. He worked at an oil refinery in Anacortes.

TSOL were the first punk band I ever saw (supported by Zero Boys, Articles Of Faith and Battered Youth)...it was at a place called K-9 College, which was an actual recently vacated canine obedience school on Broadripple, there were dog pictures on the wall. Jack wore a pink ruffled shirt and whipped the mike around Roger Daltry style. It's wonder he didn't hurt anyone. They gave away buttons, I still have mine.

maybe not the appropriate show for this but RIP Dick Parry whose absolutely insane sax stylings on Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here had a huge effect on me and others.
My band does it, though we haven't taken it outside the rehearsal space, and may never do so. I tell you, you can't mess with the "Clarence Carter, Clarence Carter, ooooh S**T, Clarence Carter!" part. Just doesn't sound right.
I am pleased to hear that. Nothing wrong with lewd music if it makes people smile. Keep up the good work.

Mr Fab played a Billy Childish version of that this morning
Could be....earlier tonight Mr Fine Wine brought up the movie Another Day In Paradise in which Carter appears performing in a club scene (did you know there was zero degrees of separation between CC and James Woods?) which made me think of Jay's club appearance scene in Two Moon Junction (which directly lead to him recording a song called Sherilyn Fenn, which could be Jay at his most openly envious...of anyone who actually got to sleep with her)
I saw it 25 years ago, but I remember kind of liking it. James Woods and Melanie Griffith are good together.
