Delia is a sonic and visual exploration of a ruined site: a former industrial sawmill abandoned since 2014.
The project is built upon a multi-point recording system—comprising eight microphones distributed throughout the space—and a rigorous method for the acoustic mapping of distinct zones.
Situated at the intersection of pure field recording, instrumental sound capture, and *in situ* composition, Delia investigates the sonic imprint of an empty space saturated with resonances.
The sound work oscillates between raw textures and free-form rhythmic compositions, constructed through the interplay of acoustic exciters and natural acoustic interactions.
The multichannel recording technique enables an immersive playback experience, designed for both installation settings and headphone listening.
