Ha! Never occurred to me that there would be a need for a book about voyeurism, but hey, guess someone had to do it.

Scott from Boston:
Still stuck in traffic… But I have to say then my dad worked for Howard Johnson’s and he worked in the ice cream department… He would bring home these 25 gallon containers of ice cream and we’d have a huge huge freezer in our house and every kid in the neighborhood would love it! after all that ice cream… I still love ice cream!
Wow! My dad worked briefly at the Life Savers factory in my hometown. They gave out tons of candy to employees. My elementary school was around the corner and the air was filled with the smells of the flavors.
I used to live whiffing distance from the NECCO plant in Cambridge, MA—which depending on what flavor of NECCO Wafer they were making that day, wasn't such a bad thing
When you're here, you're family! Welcome to the family!

Man, you guys are lucky. We have the Anheuser Bush plant nearby, and let me tell you- drinking beer is a whole lot nicer than smelling the fumes from its factory. PU!

heck yeah, ""Goofy Greats"! This album severely warped my brain as a kid. One of the first records I remember getting.
One time i saw The Cramps, they started off their show with 2 songs I knew from "Goofy Greats": "Mule-Skinner Blues," and (speaking of which) "Surfin Bird."

My Dad used to work for AB until he got “offered” early retirement in the late 80s. He worked in R&D/QC, and would bring home products they were working on, back when AB was still doing Eagle Snacks and other things, like refrigerated brownie dough. (Plus bug parts in petri dishes). We would also get tickets for Busch Gardens, and would occasionally stop at the Williamsburg and Tampa locations when we went on vacation to visit family out east. There’s not one in St Louis, just the brewery tour.
