So sorry to hear what you're going through. There's nothing quite as heartbreaking as watching a loved one fade away from a debilitating disease such as ALS, Cancer or in my Dads case Stiff Persons Syndrome and My Love's cancer. There's no words I can say to you to make it any better except try your best to be positive for them. As a caretaker you are doing a most incredible service to your Mom and I'm sure she loves you for it. Take advantage of caretaker support in your area. Much of it is now covered by insurance which though it may sound crass to some to be concerned about financial things at a time like this, it's necessary to do so. Hang in there.

I went in for my heart "assessment" last week. News was not great, but when I awoke the day of my stress test and scan, the song "Baby, Come Back" by '70's band Player was in my head from the minute I opened my eyes through my shower.
I got to the cardiology office and was prepped for my scan.
I laid back on the table, the machine positioned over me and the song on the radio.."Baby Come Back" by Player
Neither myself nor My Love would've chosen that song as one we paid much attention to.
I shed a tear while the scan progressed, feeling her in the room.

The last time the North Atlantic oceanic gyre and circulation system (specifically the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation, or AMOC) slowed down abruptly, leading to significant, rapid cooling (a "cold took over" event) was during the Younger Dryas, approximately 12,900 to 11,700 years ago.
This period was characterized by a 1,300-year re-plunge into near-glacial cold conditions across the Northern Hemisphere, following a previously warming trend at the end of the last ice age

In Trenton there is a cool mural of that moment that Washington passed through Trenton. New Jersey was "ground zero" of the American Revolution, due to it being an intermediate ground between NYC, and Philadelphia. Lots of very significant battles fought there.StringOFperils: Thanks CP!
HyperDose: Thanks Clay, crew, and YOU! 🫵🏾🫶🏾
