Finally caught up on last week's Cabaret Voltaire extravaganza and it has me strongly leaning towards a Chicago road trip in September.
About ten years ago, I dislocated a toe while stepping into the bus on a commute to work. I was wearing sandals and my toe was caught on a piece of rubber sticking up from the bus step. It was painful, but I was kinda sorta in shock until I saw my second toe sticking up perpendicular to my instep. I brought myself to the emergency room where they put me on a gurney in the hallway. After X-rays, a doctor came by and said he was going to put the toe back into position. I said okay and braced myself. YOW! It hurt like hell, but it didn't work. He had to try a second time. Even more bracing and more YOW! Then the sore toe was buddy taped and I was sent off home sans boot.

Hello, Jesse and Glotto. Crisp sounds for a soggy, rainy day.
The drum part of this song is SO GOOD!! This is a 8 bar loop with one slight change and I literally can't pay attention to anything else happening in the room right now. So good!!!
this album title has been poppin' up here of late! always reminds me of an artist i nearly forgot, name of Clams Casino, wonder if anyone has heard...wouldn't be out of place here
