Ham Joong-ah was huge in the late 70s/early 80s, when I was there. Heard It Through The Grapevine was a massive nationwide hit in 1980.

San Ul Lim were 3 brothers, who recorded between about ‘75-‘85. I bought a few of their LPs, but the credits are all in Korean, which I can’t read or write. Your playlist translations are the only ones I’ve ever seen!

In point of fact, the original name was The Dawn Keys, a reference to an early morning hotel dalliance Shin Joong-Hyun was involved in that, while ultimately an innocent jape, wound up becoming the "talk of the town" and so scandalous, that they quickly changed their name from The Dawn Keys to The Donkeys just before printing the album cover and labels
