Very frustrating. Hens within shooting boundaries but can’t take them legally. Toms all over on the roads and peoples front yards. I saw REM on the Life's Rich Pageantry tour at the Oakland Coliseum Arena in 1986. They were supposed to play the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, though it was rained out. They weirdly opened the show with a cover of Have You Ever Seen the Rain? done in The Minutemen style. They also previewed this track though it was just Stipe and Buck in a more ballad melody.

I was wrong of course. I was always so reluctant to accept them, despie going to see them (once on the first tour, and once very near the end). Looking back, I think I might have been jealous or something. I'm a jerk. That much is obvious.
So weird you said that. I just thought of it for the first time this AM. Got my stitches out yesterday. Still hot a band-aid on it, but I am healing up nicely! Thanks for asking!
Just take a Q-tip and clean the old grease out the bottem. You can’t miss it. Will be brown and hard. Ancient Indian crusfix. Get the gunk out with the q-tip and put some white lithium or ball bearing garage door grease down there. Will be good for another 40 years. And gear

In an interview, Kerli recalled buying The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill by Lauryn Hill (which she called "one of [her] favourite records of all time") at a metro station in Russia. She asked them to "give [her] something else really good", "something that people buy". She was given Greatest Hits by Björk, whom she was unfamiliar with at the time. She now cites Björk as a major influence and her favourite musician.[78] Kerli cites Bonnie Tyler and Phil Collins as influences as well as they recorded the only two albums she possessed prior to this.[13]
Among her other influences are Anouk, Joni Mitchell, Janis Joplin,[79] Massive Attack, Kidneythieves, Pendulum, the Cocteau Twins, A Perfect Circle, Deftones, Incubus, Apparat, and Imogen Heap.[80]
I just realized that Connie of Tall Pines is/was part of the Loser's Lounge entourage. Nice!

Does the 708 have that issue with the motor speeding up when first turned on. It was Dual issue with the motors. I have a 502, the motor's a pain. Usually takes back spinning the platter after it starts to fast. There's a kit (basically a diode & resistor)to fix it I just haven't bothered . Sold my vinyl years ago

You probably won't since you have a PLL motor. It was only a problem specific to the SM-840 motor.. A replacement SM-860 is recommended (hard to find) but a less costly approach can be electrical hacking. In the line supply to the motor insert a rectifier 1N4004 in parallel with a resistor of 100 ohm of 1 watt or more. 3 watt resistor works.

Thanks for the tip. Found this info:In an interview, Kerli recalled buying The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill by Lauryn Hill (which she called "one of [her] favourite records of all time") at a metro station in Russia.

A replacement SM-860 is recommended (hard to find) but a less costly approach can be electrical hacking.
