i love how that track is basically not any different from a motorik classic from Harmonia or Neu!, but it feels somehow more cartoonish, like an inflatable version of the motorik sound

Frank Zappa may have invented that. I know he (had) built one or two sets for Ruth Underwood in the 70s, so that it would work in the electric big band context
