We remember the gas shortages...& the "strictly enforced" 55mph highway speeds...once we crossed the border into the USA. Oddly enough...we didn't have similar gas crisis & speed restrictions over on this side of the 49th...if I recollect correctly.
In fact...a few US friends visiting couldn't believe at the time that we didn't have lines at the gas stations...
As a teen those were lasting memories...
Nice! I’ve read that Adam West was always super cool and nice with the fans

Just cannot say how great the 5 Bucks and Byzantine E 45s are. I emailed songwriter/guitarist Bruce Kerr back 20 years ago and he sent me their certificate (shown).
Oh man -yep rationing and you could only get gas on odd or even days based on the last number on your license plate.. what a time it was .... lines out onto the street...
Those (in the USA - not Canada) even/odd rationing days...were on & off for years if I recollect...and the whole experience was a real eye-opener to the "levers of power" that can turn or adjust the "taps" at a whim...
Sadly...applies today even.
I sure hope more places can get off the "fossils" sooner rather than later in this 21st century.

Those (in the USA - not Canada) even/odd rationing days...were on & off for years if I recollect...and the whole experience was a real eye-opener to the "levers of power" that can turn or adjust the "taps" at a whim...Sadly...applies today even.
I sure hope more places can get off the "fossils" sooner rather than later in this 21st century.
