Joe, the drummer, was the guy who found the younger Tsarnaev brother hiding in his boat after the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013. The cops shot up the boat and captured him, then the FBI took the boat and Joe was never compensated for it. He has since passed away.
Glenn Hughes before replacing Roger Glover in Deep Purple. For some reason, the Coverdale era for Purple just doesn't do much for me. I like the song "Burn" and that's about it.

One of my very favorite Trapeze songs...Glen Hughes on Bass and vocals...:)
"Burn" is one of my favorites. I feel that the Coverdale era came in with some solid stuff on that first album, but the internal bickering and drugs started to sour things fast, especially when Tommy Bolin joined. I saw some footage once of the Bolin-era band playing in Japan, and, uh, it's rough.
Grace Slick wanted to retire with a big chunk of money so she sold out and made it happen. After the Airplane reunion of 1987, she hung it up in comfort with plenty of cushion for a comfy rest of her life.

Thanks for the great show, KipCo!
I've never been fully on board with any of the band's iterations. There's some great songs there, but all three major incarnations the band each feel very bound to their era, if that makes any sense.
