Hi Mr Fab, you may especially dig tonight's show. I refreshed my mashup library with a ton of fresh mashups this weekend. This episode's inspiration. Buckle up and tickle your ears.
Bummer, as I imagine travel is not easy. (It's not easy for me, either.) But damn... they are such an excellent live show! I can't recommend Devo enough. They are just the best.
Just saw em last year and they are absolutely on fire.

Mr Fab:
In other New Wave news: Never saw David Byrne or the Talking Heads, but I should really catch him at his Hollywood Bowl show this summer. Been getting great reviews for his recent spectacular.

Austin Rich:
Slick Rick was one of the artists that got my brother in trouble for, as a youngster. My parents never got mad about almost anything, but that Slick Rick tape really angered my parents, and they finally asked my brother to turn it off. Eventually he found stuff that would piss them of similar ways, too. He had that talent.
TradeMark G use to play DJ Kreightoven's old band, ShiSho on "Sound of Plaid" so did Ivan Stang - LOL (They both got to see ShiSho perform at one time or another)

@Austin - Do you know a prominent long-time member of the punk rock scene named Jimmy Brougher?
Totom was so good. I have a couple shoeboxes of mashup CD-Rs of all those great turn-of-the -century talents that I’ve been meaning to digitize before they dissolve.
