Hey David, That's rad! Only seen it on TV. “Forbidden Planet” featured the first electronic movie score, hopefully that would sound good in a theater setting.
*raises fist*
I like how they use the term 'courtesans.'
I had hoped the song "Boulevard of broken Dreams" would have spread the term 'gigolo and gigolette' but alas, don't think that caught on.

Funny that we talk about nixing the "Magic City Night" the day after the Hawks get their doors blown off and dumped from the Playoffs. :D Maybe they should've kept it.
You could air the narrative segments of the Batman LP as a radio play.
Filet of Soul Redux was actually a cancelled album that the label wanted nothing to do with (for reasons that quickly become clear.) It's a "live" album filled with bizarre editing and odd skits. Songs speed up and slow down at random, surreal joke segments that drag on forever, skits that continue on into the songs, sound effects of the lyrics playing behind the song (like a baby crying when a song has the word "baby in it), etc. I don't know if it's "good" exactly, but it is interesting.
Not a polka version , like what you played yesterday. But there's so many versions, we could all probably play a version a day. Which would be ok by me.
Much like Lou Reed hawking Honda scooters for a while.
