Paper Kosmonaut: The shop "Het Wonder" (The Miracle) apparently was a chain of shops throughout the Netherlands. This one seems to be the one in Hengelo, you could buy household machinery (white goods and smaller electrical stuff) there.

I considered buying it, but in the end decided not to. After I heard the news of his passing, on sunday, I raced back to the shop only to find someone already had ordered it online.
