I have my wants list set so I get a notice right away if one comes up. There was one that sold for big money a little while ago but not worth it for the condition listed.
Yeah, I saw it when it first went up...it was only G condition so I passed on it. I checked the next morning and someone had bought it! If it had been better condition, I'd have snapped it up but not for that price in that condition.
It's not impossible to find, copies do exist, but again, at what price and what condition. I'm patient, though. I've waited this long, a little while longer isn't going to kill me.

Lawd Lawd, Thursdays on board make my shins shine. We have such a boss enterprise Called Give The Drummer Radio!
The only one don't have that I want is the Opus 1 "Back Seat 38 Dodge" because I've never found a copy for sale that didn't have major styrene distortion.

Yeah, styrene sound tends to sound rough, but a step up from Eva*Tone.
My first copy of this came from a garage sale when I was 14. I bought because of the cover and ended up loving the sounds! Best 50 cents I spent that day.
"Whisky Train" was peak PH era Trower! He also didn't switch to the Strat until he started his solo career, either, which changed his sound dramatically.
Rainy Michigan April here...we're in that time of year where the weather changes even in the same day a lot of the time...As we Michigan people say "if you don't like the weather, stick around, it'll be different in a couple of hours".
First time I tried acid I was in a sunroom laying on the floor feeling the warmth and listening to this album. Looking at the cover it kept shifting through colors I couldn't take my eyes off. This song was the highlight, love the Steve Hillage version too
Oh yes! I played that album until the grooves went gray. The first group album I was in love with gobsmacked. My bro brought it home from college. I was 12!
I went on a Gentle Giant discography binge about two years ago. They're not the easiest band to get into, but they've got plenty of brilliant stuff that doesn't fall into the "symphonic" category that a lot of classic prog often does. They're really a band that carved out their own sound.
