Hey Andrea C!!↳ Song: "Philly (Widescreen)" by "Rupert Holmes"
I think Rupert attended high school in Albuquerque.
If you like piña coladas and getting caught in the rain
If you're not into yoga, if you have half a brain
If you like making love at midnight in the dunes of the cape
Then this is the Time Out that you've looked for, write to me and escape."
Afternoon PJ and assembled cool cats.
↳ PJ (aka yerfriendpaul) @10:05
don't know what to shout at PJ? pi jaaaaaayyyy! maybe?↳ Hubig Pie @10:05

Ha ha! I had to stay true to my New England roots↳ Charles in Chicago @10:14
he counts to 6, the band hits 2 beats finishing the 2nd bar, then he comes in on the 1. Imagine he's counting 1,2,3,4,1,2 then the band hits 3,4. Anyhow, that's how it sounds to me. 10:16am↳ David (in London) @10:10

Then good vibes to you, mate. 10:23am↳ Andrea C @10:19
Speaking of Colbert,Specifically in Monroe.
He did a very unhinged episode of "Only in Monroe", which he had guest hosted 11 years before.
Coincidentally it was the final episode of that public television show as well, but for better reasons.
Plus, much like at the end of his show, they sold off pieces of the set to help support Monroe's PBS station once the show is over.
↳ LCBD @10:23
❤️↳ Andrea C @10:23
LOL! I'm like the guy in back of 7/11 selling out the PJ hints!↳ Bob Tankenstein @10:23

Hi Andrea!↳ Andrea C @10:30
Yes, that’s all you get Andrea! Money talks😂😂😂myron is the absolute champ!
10:31am↳ ¡Daybreak! @10:24
When I say unhinged, I mean it. It starts off seeming very normal except that there's no audience. However the camera crew and the tech crew that is there quickly becomes the audience. The musical guest also makes it a a classic odd couple/Laurel and Hardy/filling your unhinged person and straight person.
Then the insanity of the local announcements and the guest stars that show up there is also something to see.
It's also like Colbert is playing a character.
It's not like the Colbert report, and it's not the persona he had been using on late night either, it's something just a little different that I didn't pick up on right away.
↳ Scott From Boston @10:30
😂 I feel you!↳ Bob Tankenstein @10:31
It's like thunder, like lightning↳ Scott From Boston @10:31

Ha ha!↳ David (in London) @10:35
Says the guy that openly advertises his link to the "Skulk Cartel".It's so insidiously spread throughout the world that it goes by other names too.
In some places it's called the "Leash Cartel".
In still others they call it the "Earth Cartel"
↳ Song: "Your DJ Speaks"
We'll all float on...↳ ¡Daybreak! @10:38
Those links were never proved in the case, and I deny them completely.↳ ¡Daybreak! @10:40
Aren’t you loving his posts, Daybreak? When are you heading down there to join him? So exciting↳ Song: "Situation" by "Yaz"
Such a good singer.↳ PJ (aka yerfriendpaul) @10:41
I need to arrive in New Madrid Missouri on July 7.Then I'm getting voted off the raft on July 17.
Don't spoil it for the voters at home, but the producers were kind enough to give me a heads up.
↳ Song: "Situation" by "Yaz"
What montage would everyone film to this song?Just curious.
Right now I'm thinking of a montage of me picking up sticks in my backyard.
↳ ¡Daybreak! @10:44
I am so envious. I love that you’re joining him for a spell!↳ Song: "Situation" by "Yaz"
Essex in the house! When I saw Dr Feelgood at the premier of the Oil City Confidential documentary, Alison Moyet sang for the sadly departed Lee. She was outstanding and they absolutely rocked.

Good morning prof.fuzz!↳ Song: "Blue Skies (Remastered)" by "Ben Selvin's Knicker...
I love Willie's version but there's not a bad version of this song. In case you don't know, melody based on a Ukrainian lullaby↳ ¡Daybreak! @10:58
It was no accident. It was destiny! 11:00am↳ prof.fuzz @10:57
Hi prof.↳ Andrew in Toronto @11:00
howdy andrew!↳ Charles in Chicago @10:58
I would have expected nothing less from Stanley. I visited the Kubrick archive and it was utterly overwhelming.↳ David (in London) @11:01
I think it was in A.C. Clarke's book↳ Charles in Chicago @11:02
Which was largely a retrospective novelisation of the early script. That kind of obsessional detail was SK's forte, not ACC's, so they say.↳ PJ (aka yerfriendpaul) @11:00
Ha ha ha!↳ David (in London) @11:05
hmm, National Center for Supercomputer Applications was not founded until 1986. HAL was supposed to be created in 1992 or 1997 (film/book) but NCSA didn't exist yet when the screenplay was written. Were Clarke/Kubric prophets?↳ Charles in Chicago @11:06
Well, one thing that one learns from visiting the archive is that he wrote to everyone, and they ALL replied: global leaders, business people, experts, texperts, jokers, smokers. His archive is literally a vast paper pre-internet. Wouldn't suprise me if he knew things that were not publicly known.↳ Song: "San Luis Potosi" by "Jorge Negrete"
Such great voices. I love it!↳ Song: "Your DJ Speaks"
Seriously!↳ PJ (aka yerfriendpaul) @11:10

Prof!! Looking forward to your upcoming Drop In Show!!!↳ ¡Daybreak! @11:12
Just, my friend Ryan has a 'tache that would look terrible on most people, but looks great on him.↳ David (in London) @11:15
Just? I mean, yes.↳ David (in London) @11:09
Ok it makes sense. NCSA was not founded until 1986 but University of Illinois was a world leader in computing research long before that. ILLIAC IV was the largest and fastest computer in the world at the time 2001 was being written. archives.library.illinois.edu...↳ Charles in Chicago @11:15
David, thanks for sending me down this little rabbit-hole of computing history↳ Charles in Chicago @11:15
