Arts for Art is a NYC-based non-profit founded in 1996, focused on promoting and advancing multicultural improvised arts and home to the Vision Festival, an annual internationally-acclaimed festival. The Vision Festival aims to shine a light on Black and Multicultural Creative Improvised Music & Arts and prioritize diversity and inclusion, the artist as visionary, and Free Jazz as a multi-genre expression of community, hope, and justice.
This year, Vision Festival honors contemporary Free Jazz artist Joe Morris with a Lifetime Achievement award and will feature many other multi-disciplinary artists integral to the Free Jazz scene.

Listener Gregory! At the end of a recent 'FMU program you mentioned Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata. I've read most of it, and I've read two other of her books. CSW is her most realistic book. Her others are more sci-fi dystopia which I enjoyed more.↳ Listener Gregory @7:54
